Bhagirathi II, III, and I (left to right, 6512m, 6454m, and 6856m), from the West.The highest peak of the Bhagirathi Group forms a complex and topographically complicated massif. Bhagirathi Parbat has three major peaks. It stands at and dominates the end of the valley leading up to Gaumukh which is the end of the Gangotri Glacier and the source of the river Ganga. The upper part of the river Ganga is also called Bhagirathi, and both the mountain and the river are named after King Bhagirath.

DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI

Our representative will receive you at Delhi International airport in a traditional manner and assist you for transfer to hotel for overnight stay. Meal: xxx
DAY 03: DELHI - RISHIKESH DRIVE 230 KMS / 6- 7 HRS
Morning after breakfast visit IMF for briefing with IMF Director and LO. Later in the day drive to reach Rishikesh by covering approx 240 km in 05 to 06 hrs. Arrive Rishikesh and check-in to hotel for overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 03: RISHIKESH - UTTARKASHI DRIVE 175 KMS / 6- 7 HRS
Morning after breakfast drive to reach Uttarkashi by covering approx 175 km in 06 to 07 hrs. Arrive Uttarkashi and check-in to Camp for overnight stay Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 04: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI (3048M) DRIVE 95 KMS / 4 HRS
Morning after breakfast proceed to Uttarkashi town to visit Local Administration for complete legal formalities for the Expedition. Later in the day drive to Gangotri (3048 m). On arrival check in at your hotel / Guest house. Later visit to Gangotri Temple and explore the surrounding area. Overnight stay in Hotel / Guest House. Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 05: GANGOTRI – CHIRBASA (3600 M) TREK 09 KM
Trek 9 km to Chirbasa (3600 M) following the river Bhagirathi on right bank. The trek is gradual ascent for most of the part. On arrival set-up camp for overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 06: CHIRBASA – BHOJBASA (3792M) TREK 06 KM
Morning after breakfast trek to Bhojbasa (3792M). From Bhojbasa you can have majestic view of Bhagirathi group of peaks. On arrival set-up camp for overnight stay Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 07 :BHOJBASA - GAUMUKH (3892M) – NANDANVAN/BASE CAMP (4340M) TEK
Today we gradually walk up to the Gaumukh – “The source of River Ganges” a beautiful walk with views of Mt. Shivling (6543 mt) and the Mt Bhagirathi (6856). Further proceed to little high towards to Nandanvan . Across the Gangotri glacier, cutting across the glacial moraine, you shall reach the spacious alpine meadow of Nandan Van, at the juncture of Chatrungi Glacier and Gangotri Glacier and the base of Baghirathi I (6856 Mts.), II (6512 Mts.) and III (6454 Mts.). You should also have views of Mt. Kedar Dome (6831 Mts.), Karcha Kund (6617 Mts.), Kedarnath (6940 Mts.) & Mt. Meru (6672 Mts.) across the Gangotri Glacier. Overnight in Tents. Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 08-19: BASE CAMP – SUMMIT – BASE CAMP
Next 12 days for Acclimatization, Establish higher camps and summit Mt. Bhagirathi II (6512M). Meals: All meals with high altitude food
DAY 20: BASE CAMP – BHOJBASA (4460 M) TREK: 10 KM
Morning after breakfast trek to Bhojbasa. Overnight in Tents. Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 21: BHOJBASA – GANGOTRI - UTTARKASHI TREK: 9 KM/DRIVE 95 KMS
The last day of the trekking. Return to Gangotri. On arrival, drive to Uttarkashi. En-route visit to hot water spring at Gangnani. Arrive Uttarkashi and check-in at hotel for overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 22: UTTARKASHI - RISHIKESH DRIVE 175 KM
Morning after breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh. Upon arrival check-into Hotel for overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 23: RISHIKESH - DELHI DRIVE 224 KM
Morning after breakfast, drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival check-into Hotel for overnight stay Meal: Breakfast + Lunch
DAY 24: DELHI DEPART
Morning free for individual activities. After Breakfast debriefing at IMF Delhi with LO and IMF director. Later in the day transfer to International airport to board flight for onward destination. Meal: Breakfast

  15.  Services of Porters/Pony for transportation of Members luggage maximum 40 Kgs per person up to Base Camp and back.
COST EXCLUDES
  1. Personal clothing and gears required for climbing by the clients
  2.  Any personal High Altitude porter
  3.  Personal expenses such as table drinks, room’s services items, laundry, telephone calls at hotels or tip etc.

  5.  Any additional expenses caused by or liability for disturbance in trip program due to or circumstances, weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots etc.
  6.  Liability for or insurance against injury, loss of life, accidents or loss of goods.
